Hi Joshua,

MediaFire may be a good site, but it is occasionally unaccessible at times of need and this could be quite frustrating too.

I would like to recommend another site which is free, user friendly and have a reasonable amount of storage space.

Please check out www.box.net and see if you like it!

Cheers,
BK

www.box.net?
i had tried this before. but it didnt meet my requirement!

Owh? What are your requirements?

So far I've been using it and its really reliable when i want to share files among my friends. Plus it has a great feature which allows you to add a "flash-based" download section in your blog entry or anywhere around the site! That thing is pretty cool really. =D

Well maybe you should try giving it one more shot eh? XD

No matter, you did a great job on this website and it really benefited many (and myself) from the looks of it...

Keep up the good work alright!

Cheers!,
BK

This is true for me too. I'm able to enter the site(although sometimes it takes quite awhile), but when I click the LINK to download the file, it usually takes a looonngg time to load, and in the end returning a "Page is unable to load" thingi =Can't download. =D

Only at times I'm able to download the file(s).

So I would just like to make you more aware of this. ;)

Cheers,
BK

O. Let me send an feedback email to them and see what they say...

Here is what i type in the email:
A nice hello to stuff in MediaFire

I had been using mediafire for quite some time and i had agree that it is the BEST free file hosting for now.
I had share many educational files in my blogs using your file hosting service and also write a post for it about Why Mediafire?
And since i wrote the post, i get feedback from my friends that usually download files from my blog by posting comments on my blog.

From what they say, they tell me that they have difficulties to download files from mediafire in evening (Time at Malaysia, if i had not mistaken is GMT+8) Do you all lower the bandwidth or shut down server for maintainance everyday? Please give us a reason or answer on it!
We are all looking forward to know why!
Please kindly check the comments that my friends had made on my blog and reply my email as soon as possible.

Thanks.

If they reply, i will give you all an answer!

Here i get reply from mediafire's stuff!

Thank you for contacting us. We do not limit bandwidth or shut down servers on a daily basis. Are there any files in particular that are slower than others?
Please ensure that you disable any third party applications, such as anti-virus, anti-spam, internet accelerators, and firewall software.

Thanks again and best regards,

Hey Joshua thanks for doing that for us.

From the reply:
"Are there any files in particular that are slower than others?"

Errmmm... Not that I've noticed any, but there MIGHT be one or two?

From the reply:
"Please ensure that you disable any third party applications, such as anti-virus, anti-spam, internet accelerators, and firewall software."

Haha, I know my computer well and i don't think that this problem is affected by those softwares.

Hmmm... Maybe its because of streamyx xD?

What do you think? =D

Cheers,
BK
